The Museum of the Stele Statues of Lunigiana "A.C.Ambrosi" at Piagnaro Castle (Extension)

Commissioned by the City of Pontremoli (MS). - These are various interventions carried out on several occasions in the charming Museum of the Stele Statues of Lunigiana. The Museum houses ancient anthropomorphic statues made between 1000 and 3000 BC An aura of mystery surrounding the statues, their meaning and their placement in relation to the settlements of the time. The original construction, in the shadows with oblique light to highlight the area of carved stone, was reproposed in the various interventions of restoration and extension carried out also in the new Room of the iron Age. Also new is the lecture hall where seats have a semi-circular shape.
