The Piagnaro Castle

Commissioned by the City of Pontremoli (MS). - Various maintenance activities performed in the castle including the renovation of part of the coverage that was reproposed in raw stone (“piagnes”). Because of the significant new load of the stone slabs, it was necessary to reinforce the wooden structure of the warping of the roof. Other interventions concerned the lowering of the inner courtyard. On that occasion a historical research was carried out to allow the identification of important maps that have found some interventions and renovations made by the Florentines between 1650 and 1720.
