The Church of the Madonna della Difesa of Sisini

Commissioned by the City of Senorbì / Archdiocese of Cagliari. - The presbytery had serious lesions caused by a foundation failure. First, to encourage the elevation of the prebitery area, they thought ot inject some expanding urea resins. The installation of some detection deformometric stations have shown that, following the rains, the clay sublayer had caused a swelling, resulting in a rapprochement of edges of the lesions. Then they opted for a traditional consolidation with microprobes and the internal application of reinforcement fiber bundles of carbon fiber. At the end of consolidation they proceeded to a total restoration of the building.
